Head of Business Development - Data & AI (m/f/d)

At zeroG, you’ll work with a dynamic, inclusive team to build meaningful partnerships and deliver innovative data and AI solutions across airlines, airports, shipping companies, and beyond.

Tasks

You'll be the face, the engine, and the architect of how zeroG grows: deepening our position inside the Lufthansa Group, pushing us into new external markets, and winning the projects that push our people and our solutions forward.

Build and lead zeroG's Business Development Hub into a scalable Go-to-Market engine. Coach your team with honest feedback and high standards.
Own zeroG's position inside the Lufthansa Group: surface opportunities and convert internal relationships into long-term engagements.
Win new clients across aviation, logistics, and beyond. Deliver against clear KPIs for pipeline value and market positioning.
Build strategic partnerships with tech, delivery, and funding partners that unlock resources and accelerate growth.
Lead consultative sales cycles end-to-end and close six-figure deals through sharp value articulation and negotiation.
Align BD with Delivery and Strategy: co-own opportunity qualification, scoping, and resource planning.

Requirements

10+ years in business development or strategic partnerships, proven track record closing large B2B deals in data, AI, or tech consulting. You know the difference between activity and impact.
Real relationships inside the Lufthansa Group or broader aviation that you know how to activate. Logistics experience is a plus.
You write the playbook, not follow one. You see what's missing and bring others along.
You lead with warmth and hold high standards. Your team feels trusted, coached, and clear on direction.
You read the room, from data engineers to airline executives. Fluent English required, additional languages welcome. Willingness to travel is a must.
You speak credibly about data and AI solutions — GenAI, computer vision, NLP.
