What The Role Is
You will be part of MinLaw’s AI Deployment Office within the Information Technology Division (ITD), responsible for turning validated Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Analytics (“3As”) use cases into secure, scalable and production-ready solutions.
As the AI Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI-enabled products — from identifying and shaping opportunities, through deployment and adoption, to measuring outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
You will work closely with business divisions, the Data & AI Office (DAIO), technology teams, cybersecurity, governance functions and external partners to ensure AI solutions are useful, responsible and deliver measurable operational value.
What You Will Be Working On
Develop and manage the product vision, roadmap and priorities for AI-enabled products.
Work with business divisions to identify operational problems and shape viable AI and automation use cases.
Translate user and business needs into product requirements, user journeys, backlogs and success measures.
Lead products from discovery and pilot through production deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
Work with engineering and information technology teams to ensure solutions are scalable, supportable and integrated with business workflows.
Define and track product KPIs covering adoption, user experience, operational performance and benefits realisation.
Ensure AI products meet Responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy and data governance requirements.
Coordinate stakeholders across business, DAIO, ITD, governance functions and vendors to resolve dependencies and achieve product outcomes.

[Responsible AI Product Governance] - Embed Responsible AI, cybersecurity, privacy and data governance considerations throughout the product lifecycle to support safe and trusted deployment.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in digital product management, technology delivery, AI-enabled products or digital transformation.
Experience managing digital products across the product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritisation to deployment and continuous improvement.
Ability to translate business and user needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams comprising business stakeholders, engineers and technology specialists.
Good understanding of AI and Generative AI capabilities, limitations and government deployment considerations.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience with Agile product development practices.
Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance.
