Head of AI & Intelligent Automation

We are seeking an experienced AI and Data Science leader to shape the future of intelligent customer experiences and enterprise automation.

This role will lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of advanced AI solutions that improve customer engagement, streamline operations, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You will oversee the development of scalable AI platforms, guide a high-performing technical team, and help translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes.

Drive Enterprise Impact

Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise
Strong experience in Generative AI, machine learning, and applied AI solutions.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying large language model (LLM) applications in production environments.
Experience with:
AI-driven customer engagement solutions
Intelligent automation platforms
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Prompt engineering and model optimisation
AI evaluation, monitoring, and governance frameworks
Modern machine learning and data science practices
Strong foundation in statistical modelling, experimentation, predictive analytics, and feature engineering.
Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience working with cloud-based data and AI platforms.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
Ability to set strategic direction while remaining close to execution.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of delivering complex AI, analytics, or transformation initiatives in fast-paced environments.

Industry Experience
Experience working within regulated, data-intensive industries is highly desirable.
Understanding of customer engagement, operational efficiency, risk, or decision-support applications of AI.
Experience applying AI solutions to improve customer or business outcomes.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field preferred.
8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics.
5+ years of experience leading technical teams or large-scale AI initiatives.
Demonstrated experience deploying AI-powered solutions into production environments.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
