Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Media Planning and Analytics, APEC, will lead the development of integrated media strategies for Marriott International across key business pillars, both regionally and locally. They will serve as a primary point of contact for our media agency, focusing on strengthening agency partnerships, optimizing output, and overseeing media investment tracking.
This position will be accountable for reviewing past and future media campaigns to surface patterns and insights that articulate how media investments drive business outcomes. Partnering closely with Marriott’s Revenue and Digital teams, they will ensure consistent alignment between business objectives and platform performance metrics, while shaping best practices to inform media investment decisions.
This role requires strong stakeholder management experience to enable seamless collaboration across multiple teams. Regular engagement with senior leadership is needed, including presenting performance insights and strategic recommendations that directly support business priorities.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Media, APEC, this position will support the APEC Commercial Services teams across Brand Marketing, Loyalty, Area Marketing, Restaurant and Bars, Distribution, Partnerships and B2B, to deliver on evolving business goals. They will also coordinate with our Global Media Team and JBP partner leads to share and implement learnings, initiatives and frameworks.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience
8–12 years of Asia Pacific media planning and analytics experience, developed through roles in established in‑house media teams, or client‑facing agency positions managing large international accounts.

Proven experience delivering both regional and local market campaigns across key Asia Pacific markets.
Extensive knowledge of digital media platforms, strategies, and placement approaches.
Demonstrated capability in interpreting media data and communicating insights through clear reporting.
Ability to review and optimize media‑related processes to drive efficiencies and maximize return on investment.
Strong organizational skills, with the competency to manage multiple projects independently and effectively.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support and deliver against specific business priorities.
Proven track record in leading complex projects and initiatives from conception through to successful execution.
A strategic problem solver with the ability to think creatively while meeting speed‑to‑market requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the aptitude to engage and convince senior stakeholders.
Proven proficiency in managing and directing strategic agency, partner, and vendor relationships.
Comfortable working with associates, vendors, and customers across remote locations and international markets, including multiple time zones.
Experience partnering with finance and legal teams on invoicing, contracts, and commercial processes.
Highly detail‑oriented, with strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.

Media Planning
Collaborate with stakeholders across Marriott’s Commercial Services teams to create and lead integrated media strategies.
Develop and refine measurement frameworks and media planning cadence to evolve and strengthen media performance.

Media Analytics

Translate complex media data into clear, concise insights and recommendations that support media optimization and investment decisions.
Collaborate with regional and local market teams to support campaign planning, performance reviews, and post‑campaign analysis.
Drive continuous improvement through media innovation, competitor analysis, and industry and vendor insights.
Present performance insights, learnings, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making and alignment with business priorities.
Media Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for Marriott’s media agency across all campaigns, projects, teams, and ad hoc initiatives.
Manage the agency scope of work, including detailed tracking across campaigns, results, FTE hours, and timelines.
Lead Marriott’s monthly media reviews to ensure spend pacing, and performance are tracking against approved budgets.
Manage financial tracking cadence for invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliation, including rebates, credits, and accruals.
Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and delivery of ad hoc projects as required.
