AI, Digital & Data Senior Director | Global Charity | Remote

I’m keen to speak with senior AI / Digital / Technology leaders about a genuinely interesting global role with an organisation making a positive difference worldwide.

This isn’t about simply “doing AI”. You’ll shape the strategy for AI, Digital & Data, lead a global team and turn emerging technology into practical, measurable impact. You’ll own the vision for AI, Digital and Data.

This opportunity is about strategy, leadership, influence and making things happen.

This is all about senior-level influencing. Persuading senior stakeholders to adopt the vision, prioritise investment and change how an organisation works.

You’ll lead a function, not just projects, with the chance to build or transform a team rather than inheriting a mature one.

You must have experience owning or leading a technology or digital portfolio and strategy at an organisational level. I’m particularly interested in people who’ve taken AI/GenAI or digital initiatives from idea/pilot through to real-world adoption and scale.

Deep, practical knowledge of modern AI/GenAI is essential. You need to understand the technology well enough to assess use cases, challenge technical specialists and vendors, make informed build vs buy decisions, and judge whether AI solutions can deliver in the real world. This is not a hands-on AI engineering role, but AI expertise is a core requirement.

Experience operating across a global, geographically dispersed, multi-stakeholder organisation is an advantage.

The opportunity pays over six figures, is fully remote (UK-based), and is for a meaningful purpose.
