For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Manager Feed Ecosystems to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Media environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $253,300 – $354,600 annually
Responsibilities
Define the technical vision and roadmap for Feed Ecosystems aligned with company goals
Coach team members to enhance their skills and contributions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and set expectations
Oversee the design and optimization of ML systems for content distribution and quality
Establish measures for content quality and community contribution
Work with platform teams to create scalable AI systems for content discovery
Maintain high performance standards and responsible AI practices
Partner with recruiting to attract and hire talented ML engineers
Qualifications
2+ years of experience leading high-performing ML teams
Hands-on experience with large-scale production ML systems, especially recommender systems
Strong understanding of recommender systems and ecosystem dynamics
Ability to develop and communicate a strategic technical vision
Passion for creating responsible AI systems that enhance user experience and ecosystem health
Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
