Finance IT Product & Project Manager (AI Transformation)

About the Team
Tencent Finance IT is dedicated to transforming how finance operates across our global markets through technology, automation, and AI-driven innovation.
We are looking for a versatile Product & Project Manager who combines strong business analysis, product thinking, and end-to-end project delivery capabilities. In this role, you will go beyond managing project timelines and implementing system requirements. You will work closely with finance stakeholders to identify business challenges, rethink existing workflows, design practical solutions, and drive their successful implementation.
As AI continues to reshape enterprise operations, you will also have opportunities to explore how AI agents, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies can make finance processes smarter, more efficient, and scalable.

What You'll Do
Business Analysis & Product Design
Partner with global finance stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and actionable solutions.
Lead product discovery, requirement analysis, and end-to-end workflow design across finance domains such as accounts payable, invoicing, procurement, expense management, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Challenge existing processes and proactively propose solutions that improve user experience, operational efficiency, standardization, and scalability.
Own solution design and product documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, user journeys, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
Project Management & Delivery
Independently lead cross-functional Finance IT initiatives from discovery and planning through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
Define project scope, priorities, milestones, and delivery plans; proactively manage dependencies, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with finance teams, business analysts, developers, QA, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions across multiple markets.
Drive user acceptance testing, change management, and regional rollout to ensure successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.
AI Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Explore and identify opportunities to apply AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to redesign finance workflows and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to evaluate solution feasibility, prototype AI-powered capabilities, and translate business scenarios into practical product designs.
Apply product thinking to AI-enabled workflows, considering accuracy, exception handling, human oversight, and operational controls.
Define and track success metrics such as process efficiency, automation rates, solution quality, user adoption, and business impact to continuously improve products and processes.

Who We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, solution delivery, or project management, preferably within finance technology or enterprise systems.
Proven ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from business requirement analysis and solution design through implementation and launch.
Strong business analysis and product design capabilities, with hands-on experience in process mapping, requirement definition, workflow optimization, and translating ambiguous business problems into practical solutions.
Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, risk management, and execution.
Good understanding of finance operations and related systems, such as ERP, billing, payments, invoicing, procurement, or expense management.
Exposure to AI-enabled products, intelligent automation, or AI-related projects, including hands-on experimentation or prototyping. Strong curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, and their potential to transform enterprise workflows is highly valued.
Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to balance business value, technical feasibility, user experience, and delivery constraints.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with business proficiency in both English and Mandarin to work effectively with stakeholders across China and international markets.
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for continuous improvement.

Nice to Have
Experience with enterprise finance platforms such as Workday Finance, SAP, Oracle, or their surrounding integration ecosystems.
Experience designing or delivering AI-powered enterprise applications, including LLM-based workflows, AI agents, intelligent document processing, or automation solutions.
Experience supporting finance system transformation across multiple countries or regions.
Familiarity with financial controls, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and information security.
PMP, Agile, or other relevant professional certifications.
