Group Chief Product & Technology Officer — AI / Fintech

Our client is a sizeable, fast-growing technology group operating across fintech, AI and digital financial services in Southeast Asia.
The business has a strong regional footprint, with Singapore as a key leadership hub and operations across multiple Asian markets. It provides technology-led products that support digital onboarding, automation, risk decisioning, customer growth and financial services innovation.
The company is now looking for a senior executive to join its group leadership team and help shape the next stage of growth, including new product direction, AI-enabled innovation and scalable regional execution.

Responsibilities
Lead group-level product, engineering and technology strategy across multiple business lines and markets.
Partner closely with the CEO / founders / executive leadership team to define new business opportunities, product direction and long-term growth strategy.
Identify and build new AI-enabled products and solutions across fintech, automation, risk, identity, onboarding, fraud prevention, data intelligence and customer growth.
Own the execution of major product and technology roadmaps, ensuring ideas are translated into scalable, commercially viable products.
Lead and develop large engineering, product, AI, data and platform teams across regional markets.
Drive operational excellence across delivery, architecture, engineering quality, platform scalability, product velocity and cross-functional execution.
Work closely with commercial, sales, risk, compliance and operations teams to ensure product strategy is aligned with customer needs, regulatory requirements and revenue growth.
Strengthen the company’s AI and data capabilities, including applied AI, automation, real-time decisioning, GenAI and intelligent product platforms.
Support enterprise and regional customer conversations where senior product / technical credibility is required.
Build scalable leadership structures, improve execution discipline and mentor senior leaders across product, engineering and AI teams.

Requirements
Senior executive experience in a technology, fintech, AI, payments, digital banking, identity, fraud, risk, consumer internet or enterprise software business.
Proven track record leading sizeable product, engineering, AI, data or technology teams at group, regional or multi-market level.
Strong experience in high-growth start-up or scale-up environments, with evidence of building products that contributed directly to business growth.
Ability to combine technical depth with commercial thinking — strong enough technically to guide AI / engineering strategy, but business-minded enough to shape new revenue opportunities.
Experience building or scaling AI-enabled products, data products, automation platforms, risk engines, decisioning systems, fintech platforms or digital consumer products.
Strong product instincts, with the ability to identify market opportunities, define product direction and drive execution from concept to launch.
Strong operational execution skills, including roadmap discipline, team structure, delivery cadence, stakeholder management and measurable business outcomes.
Experience working across Southeast Asia or broader APAC markets is highly preferred.
Mandarin / Chinese fluency is required, due to regional stakeholder communication needs.
Singapore-based candidates are preferred; relocation to Singapore may be considered for exceptional profiles.
Suitable backgrounds may include CTO, CPO, CPTO, Chief AI Officer, Chief Data Officer, VP Engineering, VP Product, Head of Engineering, Head of Product & Technology, or senior product / technology leader from a high-growth fintech or AI-driven technology company.
