VP of Product - Enterprise AI (series B start up)
We’re partnering with a high growth AI native enterprise start up and looking for a VP of Product, reporting directly to the CEO and co-founder.
The company builds AI products used inside the daily workflows of large financial institutions. Commercial demand is running ahead of the product. Customers want new AI workflows faster than the roadmap can absorb them, and almost every deal involves some level of enterprise deployment. That’s a good problem to have, but it needs a product leader who can turn demand into a coherent platform: deciding what becomes core product, what stays bespoke, and what the company says no to.
In practice this is a product co-founder role. You’ll set the product vision, own the roadmap alongside the commercial leader, and work closely with the CTO and a dedicated deployment team.
What you’ll own
Product vision and strategy - a clear north star that the company, the commercial team and customers can rally behind
The roadmap, set jointly with the commercial leader, with clear guardrails between what’s sold and what’s built
The line between core platform and client-specific customisation, working closely with deployment
The product team - lead a small but high calibre team of PMs and designers and scale it as hiring continues
Product analytics - build the function from scratch so decisions rest on usage data, not anecdote
Senior stakeholder management across commercial, engineering and deployment, and directly with enterprise clients
What we’re looking for
You’ve walked into an undefined or fragmented product strategy and driven it through to execution.
You’ve built product for enterprise buyers and understand long sales cycles, complex procurement, security and compliance requirements, and implementation-heavy rollouts
You’ll own the product strategy end to end and drive it across commercial, engineering and deployment, while staying hands-on enough to write the spec, sit in the client meeting and change course when the market moves.
AI product experience is a strong plus, meaning you’ve shipped agentic-powered features or workflows into production, not just explored them
Financial services or other regulated-industry experience is valued
